Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I reserve accommodation and restaurants?

For the peak weeks — Haute Couture (early July), Fashion Week (late September) and Art Basel (October) — the finest suites and private residences are secured several months ahead. Michelin-starred tables generally open reservations one to three months in advance and fill very quickly. We recommend booking the moment your dates are confirmed.

Can I attend Art Basel Paris and Paris Photo?

Yes — both are open to the public at the Grand Palais (Art Basel, 23–25 October; Paris Photo, 12–15 November). The most sought-after moments, however, are the invitation-only previews and VIP days. Our concierge team can help arrange privileged access, private viewings and collector dinners around the fairs.

Is it possible to attend the couture and Fashion Week shows?

Runway shows are strictly by invitation from each maison. Where possible, we can facilitate access, as well as private showroom appointments, fittings and bespoke experiences with the houses — a service tailored to each client.

Are tickets still available for Céline Dion's residency?

Demand has been exceptional. The 2026 dates (12 September–17 October) sold largely through presale, and additional performances have since been announced for May 2027. Remaining access is best secured through official resale and VIP hospitality packages, which we are happy to assist with.

Can I watch the FIFA World Cup in Paris?

Absolutely. While the tournament (11 June–19 July) is hosted across the United States, Canada and Mexico, Paris hosts some of Europe's most exclusive viewing experiences — in luxury hotels, private members' clubs and rooftop venues throughout the city.

Is the Centre Pompidou open in 2026?

No. The Centre Pompidou closed in September 2025 for a major renovation and is expected to reopen in 2030. For modern and contemporary art, the Fondation Louis Vuitton, the Bourse de Commerce — Pinault Collection, the Musée d'Art Moderne and the Palais de Tokyo offer exceptional alternatives.

Do I need a visa or travel authorisation to enter France in late 2026?

Travellers from visa-exempt countries (the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and others) can still enter France with a valid passport for the remainder of 2026: the new ETIAS authorisation launches in the last quarter of 2026 but only becomes mandatory in 2027. Note that the EU's biometric Entry/Exit System (EES) has been in place since April 2026. Ensure your passport is valid for at least three months beyond your departure, and rely only on the official source, europa.eu/etias. Requirements evolve — please confirm before travel.

Can international buyers acquire property in Paris?

Yes. France places no nationality restriction on property ownership — you need not be a resident, hold a visa, or even be in the country to buy. Every transaction is secured by a notaire, the state-appointed legal officer who executes the transfer. Acquisition costs on a resale property typically add 7–8% (notaire fees and transfer taxes) on top of the price, with agency fees usually included in the displayed figure. Note that buying property does not, in itself, grant French residency. For your situation we recommend guidance from a notaire — and our team can introduce you to trusted advisors.

Can Latin Exclusive assist with acquiring a residence in Paris?

Beyond curated stays, we accompany international clients through the entire acquisition journey — sourcing off-market residences, coordinating viewings, and connecting you with notaires, tax advisors and financing partners.
Experience Paris with Latin Exclusive — a curated portfolio of exceptional apartments, penthouses and private residences, complemented by bespoke concierge services: from front-row seats at Fashion Week and Art Basel VIP access to private chefs, chauffeurs and exclusive cultural events.
